With the release of reach coming fast we are taking stock of our resources here at Treeskunk and realize we are lacking in puppeteers. If you are interested please e-mail me at Paulshelley@treeskunk.com.
We’re happy to present a new Treeskunk original short entitled “Voices.” What would you do if you started hearing voices in a mysterious alien facility? And what if your companion is a complete idiot? Watch and find out. This video is dedicated to SodaGod and the ridiculous films he made back in the day. Enjoy!
*Update*
The YouTube video now has captions so you can understand The Voice a little better when he is ranting.
We at Treeskunk Productions are proud to have lived to see the organization’s 5th birthday. From a humble group of Halo enthusiasts on the HaloTV forums to a machinima team with over 1.5 million video views, we have come quite some way. We have had a few bumps in the road and added a few new faces over the years but we now are beginning to carve a path of our own, seeking our own niche in the entertainment industry.
Then again we have Paul so who knows, we might end up working at the Jack Daniels distillery to pay off his booze debt…
I’ve formally been a part of Treeskunk for four of these five years and I was around in the HaloTV forums when the group began. I find it amazing that out of all the original Halo and Halo 2 machinima groups, it’s essentially just us and RoosterTeeth that remain. It’s surreal to remember the machinima of imSuck, SodaGod, and Jamie98; none of which are around anymore. Even amazing series like Fire Time Charlie and The Codex are now far in the past and the groups long-since disbanded. Treeskunk has stuck around all these years, whether it be our persistance or insanity, who truly knows.
Just as a quick update about the state of our machinima, here are some fun numbers that have been accumulated since August 2006.
- Total Views: 1,583,248
- Total Bandwidth Expended on Videos: 4.415 TB
- Total Time Spent Watching Videos: 19.6 years
So thanks for all the watching and support (and fish!) over the years and we hope you’ll continue to follow us into the future! Who knows what Paul might do next!
We are a short two weeks away from the release of Halo: Reach and the continuation of Bungie’s world domination plans. Obviously we here at Treeskunk love Bungie and their games, so Paul’s made a special Side Note to commemorate this momentous occasion. So sit back, relax, and watch him take credit for stuff he didn’t do.
We have a little treat for you guys. Here’s the raw audio recording from Chris Gravitt (voice of Rico and Halmat) from the latest episode of Outpost: Isil. It’s basically all of his dialogue from the entire episode plus his screw-ups and attempts at comedy.
